Texts & Events Across Borders

The final TEEME conference will take place at Freie Universitaet Berlin, from the 24^th to the 26^th of May 2018. Entitled “Texts and Events across Borders”, it will explore the ways in which texts, people, ideas, or objects have crossed borders – from geographical and national frontiers to conceptual and metaphorical boundaries. The focus will be on the early modern age (c. 1400 – 1700), but 20^th and 21^st-century responses to or revisions of early modern texts and events will also be considered.

The conference will bring together invited speakers from different disciplines with contributions from TEEME members, including students, alumni and staff members.
