Profil:

I hold a Bachelor's degree in German Philology (major) and Philosophy (minor) from Freie Universität Berlin and completed my Master's degree in Applied Linguistics (Linguistik im Kontext: Erwerb-Kommunikation-Mehrsprachigkeit) at the University of Potsdam.

From 2018 to 2024, I worked as a student assistant in the Brain Language Laboratory. During this time, I supported teaching activities as a teaching assistant and independently conducted tutorials. I also contributed to the lab’s public outreach by maintaining the website and building its Facebook account. In my role as a research assistant, I particularly supported the execution and analysis of the studies within the ILAT project.

My own research focus was on the conversation-analytic perspective of therapy processes and their effects. Therefore, I wrote both my Bachelor's and Master's theses in the context of the ILAT project: my Bachelor's thesis focused on the communicative strategies used by relatives of individuals with aphasia to secure mutual understanding, while my Master's thesis analyzed the resources employed by individuals with aphasia to initiate repairs and maintain the conversational space needed to complete them.
