Graduate School
Doctoral students benefit from excellent infrastructure. They are part of an international and interdisciplinary network of research and teaching and can put together a tailor-made program from the Graduate School’s offerings to support their project.
Partnerships
An international research stay is an integral part of the doctoral program and is supported by a dedicated travel budget. Doctoral students and scholars from our partner universities are invited to conduct research at the FSGS and collaborate with us in organizing events.
Events
Together with postdoctoral researchers, PIs, and guests of the Graduate School, doctoral students can organize up to 20 events per year. They develop concepts, send out invitations, and facilitate discussions. Administrative support is provided by the management team and the board.
Publications
Selected dissertations and conference proceedings are published in the Graduate School’s Weltliteraturen / World Literatures series, but this is not the only way our scholars present their work. Our literary studies blog fosters discussion and invites everyone to comment and engage.
