Gastdoktorand*innen der Graduiertenschule
Gastdoktorand*innen erhalten kein Stipendium der Graduiertenschule, sondern sind Promovierende der Partnerinstitute der Graduiertenschule. Sie können sich an der Freien Universität Berlin immatrikulieren und alle Angebote der Universität und der Graduiertenschule nutzen. In angemessenem Umfang wird ihnen ein Arbeitsplatz zur Verfügung gestellt.
Die Gastdoktorand*innen nehmen an den Veranstaltungen der Graduiertenschule teil und können gemeinsam mit den Mitgliedern Veranstaltungen organisieren und Gäste einladen. In den Colloquien der Schule stellen sie ihre Promotionsprojekte vor.
Visiting doctoral candidates of the Graduate School
Visiting doctoral candidates do not receive a scholarship from the Graduate School as they remain doctoral students at the Graduate School’s partner universities. They can enroll at Freie Universität Berlin and take advantage of the university’s and the Graduate School’s offers. They are provided with an appropriate work space.
Visiting doctoral candidates participate in Graduate School events and can organize events and invite guests together with members of the Graduate School. They present their dissertation projects in the Graduate School’s colloquia.
