Anna Ådahl and Clemens von Wedemeyer discuss visibilities of group dynamics, from the Leipzig Monday Demonstrations to the invisibility of big data today. Anna Ådahl is a visual artist and researcher working in various media such as film, installations, performance and collage. She uses the tools of assemblage and montage where found footage meets newly shot images and where ready-mades are used as props in site specific related narratives. Her practice based PhD at the Royal College of Art in London adresses the aesthetics and politics of digitized and simulated crowds generated by new computational technologies. Her work has been presented and exhibited both in Sweden and internationally. She was a member of the editorial team of OEI magazine between 2012-2018. Clemens von Wedemeyer lives and works in Berlin and is professor for media art at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig. His work has been shown at the 1st Moscow Biennale (2005), the 4th Berlin Biennale (2006), Skulptur Projekte Münster in 2007, and dOCUMENTA (13) (2012). He had solo shows among others at MoMA PS1, New York, the Barbican Art Centre, London, and n.b.k. Berlin.
