Welche Rolle spielen räumliche Ordnungsstrukturen in Gestalt diagrammatischer Inskriptionen für unsere Wissenskulturen? Welche kognitive Bedeutung haben graphische Artefakte wie Schriften, Diagramme, Graphen und Karten? Welche phänomenalen Eigenschaften verbindet sie? Diese Fragen untersucht die internationale Tagung: thinking with diagrams. space, inscription, knowlege, vom 7.- 9. Juli 2011 an der Freien Universität Berlin.
Die Tagung ist eine Zusammenarbeit des Exzellenzclusters TOPOI mit dem DFG-Graduiertenkolleg SCHRIFTBILDLICHKEIT.
