Programme

Scientific Program

The scientific program will feature a series of invited keynote lectures and discussions addressing central questions at the interface of linguistics, cognitive science, and the neuroscience of language. The workshop will be structured around several thematic strands, including:

  • Brain-informed approaches to linguistic theory
  • Aphasia therapy and clinical language research
  • Neurosemantics and neuropragmatics
  • Computational and neurobiologically grounded models of language and cognition
  • Brain mechanisms of language processing

In addition to invited keynote talks, the workshop will include contributions from members of the Brain Language Laboratory and the ERC MatCo research team.

Satellite Methods Workshop

A satellite workshop on the 2nd September on neuroimaging methods, focusing on EEG and source analysis, will be offered in connection with the main workshop and led by Dr. Olaf Hauk (University of Cambridge). Further details regarding format and participation will be announced soon.

Poster Session

The workshop will include a poster sessions providing an opportunity for researchers and students to present their work related to the neuroscience of language and cognition.
A call for poster abstracts will be announced soon. Information regarding submission guidelines and deadlines will be provided shortly.
