General Information

In the list of partner universities, you can find information about whether it is possible to apply for your study phase (B.A. or M.A.). The Erasmus+ program allows you to study abroad either for one or two semesters. Please visit the websites of the universities for more information about their course offerings and term dates. Generally, academic calendars vary from university to university.

Language Skills

You should have at least B1-level language proficiency in the language of instruction at the host university (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). The language of instruction at the host university is the language listed first. The host university offers a limited number of courses, which can also include courses without a focus on theater or dance studies, in the language listed second.

The required language proficiency varies depending on the host country and partner university. Generally, you have to submit proof of proficiency in the language of instruction. For more detailed information, please visit the websites of your selected universities. For your application, please submit a language test from the Language Center of Freie Universität Berlin or another current language test. Documenting language proficiency via the Abitur certificate is generally not sufficient.
