Tutorials are courses offered in tandem with a specific seminar or practice session and taught by higher-semester students in coordination with the unversity teacher. Tutorials are primarily offered in tandem with introductory seminars that usually comprise a wide variety of introductory theoretical texts on an extensive historical topic.

Providing more time for in-depth reading and discussion, tutorials aim to deepen the students’ engagement with the content of the seminar or practice session.

Moreover, tutorials are also offered to provide methodological and practical aid. For example, there are tutorials that help students write papers (finding a topic, asking the right questions, structuring one’s paper, conducting research, creating bibliographies and citations, etc.) or provide tips for preparing and giving talks and presentations.
