Cooperations and Partners

At the program, we develop and realize research-based projects and collaborations with international partners from the arts, culture, and science as well as the creative industries. Our focus is on knowledge transfer, practice-based research and digital knowledge design. We are currently or have been working on various projects with the following cooperation partners:

metaLAB (at) FU, Freie Universität Berlin

metaLAB (at) FU, Freie Universität Berlin is a joint international research initiative with metaLAB (at) Harvard, Harvard University. metaLAB (at) FU operates as a transdisciplinary lab and as an experimental platform exploring new digital and creative knowledge practices in the scientific, cultural and social realm. metaLAB (at) FU’s approach and aim is to develop practice-based research projects in joint activities of academic, scientific, cultural and creative experts and institutions. The metaLAB (at) FU initiative develops six promising practice projects in three different research areas, intersecting humanities, art and science, aiming at paradigmatically new venues of knowledge production, dissemination and real-world impact. As a space for experimentation, the lab is a unique testing ground for the changing role of academia in the digital age.
