Bachelor's degree program English Philology - Subject and core areas

The BA program English Philology focuses on the language, literature and cultures of the Anglophone world (outside North America).

The programme consists of practical language courses and disciplinary courses. The latter cover the four core areas of Linguistics, Literary Studies, Medieval Studies and Cultural Studies. Further information on the areas and a list of the staff can be found via the respective links.

The 30 and 60 LP modules do not cover the entire subject of the degree programme (see course structure).
