In this workshop, we are going to teach you how to build a profile that showcases what you’re great at, and practice talking about your skills and strengths. We're also going to look at how to translate those skills to jobs outside of academia.
- What can I do? What are my skills and strengths? How can I find the “red thread” or pattern that connects my prior experiences (and why does this matter)?
- How can I find out how I compare to others in my field? What tools exist to help me determine what I need to work on, and what can I do to quickly add to my CV?
- How can I tell my career story in a way that is compelling and attractive to employers outside of academia? What differences are there between self-marketing in Germany and self-marketing abroad?
