In our lecture series, we invite researchers from all over the world to talk about recent topics in linguistics. We discuss linguistic phenomena and their possible explanations, linguistic theory and methodology as well as social and historical aspects of language and language change. Moreover, it is our concern to connect insights from neuro-, psycho- and computational linguistics with those obtained in traditional grammatical theory. It is our ambition to feel inspired by the work of our colleagues from different research environments. And not least, we hope to provide the basis for theoretical and methodological advancement by means of critical discussion.
