Danièle Cohn

Danièle Cohn has been professor of aesthetic theory at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS) in Paris since 1991. In 2002, she was also appointed as professor at the University of Paris (Paris I und Paris X). Her main research interest is aesthetic philosophy. She is on the editorial board of the journal "Critique" and is a member of the academic councils for the academic journals   "Revue francophone d’esthétique", "Nouvelle Revue d’esthétique", and "Cadernos de filosofia". Her most important publications are "La Lyre d’Orphée. Goethe et l’esthétique" and "Penser les arts à l’époque des Lumières" which will be published in 2010.
