The Germanic Institute Partnership (GIP) between the Department of German and Dutch Languages and Literature at Freie University (Project Manager: Professor Dr. Wolfgang Neuber, Dr. Hans Feger) and the Department of German (Dean: Prof. Jia Wenjia) of the Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) and the associated Department of European Language and Literature (Director: Prof. Wang Bingjun) and the Department of German (Dean: Prof. Li Daxue) of Sichuan International Studies University / Chongqing (SISU) and the associated Department of European Culture (Director: Prof. Feng Yalin) has the task of promoting a culture of excellence in the Humanities through providing exchanges for students, through presenting research projects at the graduate group and by being used as a tool for the expansion and development of a network of contacts and partnerships for German departments around the world.
