The workshop brings together scholars from sociolinguistics, language documentation, anthropology, geography, and related fields to explore the study of linguistic landscapes as an interdisciplinary endeavor. Focusing on the intersection of language and space, the workshop addresses themes such as language contact, language policy, heritage discourse, education, economy, tourism, and language ideologies involving national, minority, indigenous, and migrant languages. The goal is to facilitate the exchange of data, perspectives, and methodological approaches for the study of linguistic landscapes.
