of Iranian literature in support of the protests in Iran. We will read in Persian, English and German from C/rowning Anguish: Memoirs of A Persian Princess from the Harem to Modernity, 1884-1914/ by Taj al-Saltana (1884–1936), poetry by Forough Farrokhzad (1934–1967), and personal accounts of the current protests in Iran.
