It will bet the biggest theatre project of the Institute for Arts and Media Management so far: seven students, guided by Axel Wandtke (actor at the Volksbühne at the Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in Berlin) and Prof. Dr. Klaus Siebenhaar (director of the Institute for Arts and Media Management), will stage a theatrical performance inspired by David Bowie. Other participants will be actors of the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst “Ernst-Busch” (Acting School “Ernst Busch”, musicians such as Steve Binetti (Volksbühne among others) and the dancer Antje Rose.
The generation of the twenty-year-olds will cast a critical glance at the art scene with its heroes, myths and abysses. Bowie, Berlin, the SO36, the young wildes supply the inspiration, the contemporary creative scenes deliver the topic. It will be a long night packed with musical and performative highlights in the middle of Kreuzberg.
