Conference attendance is free but please notify us if you can’t make it after all (even if you’re not presenting/having a poster). Note that the entire conference is conducted on campus in Berlin and online attendance is not possible.

Workshop participation is free and it is possible to attend both workshops consecutively (see conference program). You can also join the workshops spontaneously, but knowing a rough number of potential participants helps the instructors with planning.

The workshop day concludes with insights from a representative of a local online food creator community: Mit Vergnügen Berlin (https://mitvergnuegen.com/category/food/; https://www.instagram.com/mitvergnuegen/). Please let us know if you’d like to attend this event (short talk and Q&A; March 26, 17:30-18:30). Joining spontaneously is also possible.

March 27, 19:30

Concrete and Currywurst. A one-hour walk guided by our local Berliner Rita exploring the sights and stories around Bahnhof Zoo, with an optional self-paid Currywurst finale (vegan options available). Note that the start of the tour (Bahnhof Zoo) is around 45 minutes by public transport from the conference venue. Maximum number of participants: 30; first come, first served. 

We’ll be having our buffet style conference dinner at Max & Moritz (https://maxundmoritzberlin.de/), a traditional Berlin restaurant in the heart of Kreuzberg that’s been serving classic German cuisine, local beers and more since 1902. Please note that the restaurant is about 60 minutes from the conference venue (direct connection with the subway). For organizational reasons, signing up for the conference dinner counts as a fixed booking (payment only in cash at registration desk).
