Profile
German Language and Literature consists of three areas of study: modern German literature, early German literature and language, and linguistics (general linguistics and German linguistics). These areas can be combined in various ways in the different degree programs.
Other areas of study can be made a part of various degree programs as additional qualifications: teaching of German language and literature, German as a foreign language, editorial studies, and speech training.
Information on the various areas of study and subjects is available from the pages that follow.
