The conference will be held in the Henry-Ford-Bau at the Freie Universität Berlin. It is located at the junction of Garystraße and Boltzmannstraße, near the subway stop Thielplatz (line U3) in the southwestern part of Berlin.

• If you get off at station ‘U Thielplatz’ (U3, direction ‘Krumme Lanke’), please take exit in direction of travel and leave station at the left side.

• Turn right on ‘Brümmerstraße’.

• Follow ‘Brümmerstraße’ and turn left on ‘Ihnestraße’.

• Follow ‘Ihnestraße’ and turn left on ‘Garystraße’.

• Go to ‘Garystraße 35’ and find yourself in front of the Henry Ford Building.

• Access to venue by public transport

-From railway station ‘Lichterfelde West’ (length of journey: 0:20 h):

• It is a walk of about 20 minutes.

• Exit on the left and leave station at the right exit.

• Follow ‘Hans-Sachs-Straße’ and turn left on ‘Drakestraße’.

• Cross ‘Unter-den-Eichen’ and follow ‘Habelschwerdter Allee’.

• Turn left on Ladenbergstraße until you reach ‘Corrensplatz’.

• Follow ‘Corrensplatz’ and turn right on ‘Garystraße’.

-From railway station ‘Rathaus Steglitz’ (length of journey: 0:30 h):

• Take bus X83 (direction ‘U Dahlem Dorf’) and get off at station ‘U Dahlem Dorf’.

• Take U3 (direction ‘U Krumme Lanke’).

• Get off at station ‘U Thielplatz’.

-From railway station ‘Potsdamer Platz’ (length of journey: 0:50 h):

• Take U-Bahn (underground) U2 (direction ‘U Theodor-Heuss-Platz’).

• Change trains at ‘U Wittenbergplatz’.

• Take U3 (direction ‘U Krumme Lanke’).

• Get off at station ‘U Thielplatz’.

-If you prefer to take a bus from ‘Lichterfelde West’:

• Take M 11 (direction ‘U Dahlem Dorf’).

• Get off at station ‘Löhnleinstraße’).

• Take 110 (direction ‘U Oskar-Helene-Heim’).

• Get off at station ‘Bitscher Str’.

• Cross the street.

• Turn right on ‘Ihnestraße’.

• Follow ‘Ihnestraße’ and turn left on ‘Garystraße’ and find yourself in front of the Henry Ford Building.

• Access to venue by car

• Take motorway A115 and take exit 4 ‘Zehlendorf’.

• Follow the road 1 to ‘Berlin Zentrum’.

• After about 7 kilometers, turn left onto ‘Thielallee’ about 300 m and turn left on ‘Garystraße’.

• By plane

 -From Tegel Airport (length of journey: 1 h):

• Take Bus X9 or bus 109 (direction ‘S+U Zoologischer Garten’).

• Get off at ‘U Jakob-Kaiser-Platz’.

• Get on the underground line U7 (direction ‘U Rudow’).

• Change trains at ‘Fehrbelliner Platz’ to line U3 (direction ‘Krumme Lanke’).

• Get off at station ‘U Thielplatz’.

-From Schönefeld Airport (length of journey: 1:30 h):

• Take the S-Bahn line S45 (direction ‘S+U Bundesplatz’) to ‘Südkreuz’.

• Get off at Südkreuz and change trains to S41 (direction circle line 41) to ‘Heidelberger Platz’.

• Change trains at ‘Heidelberger Platz’ to line U3 (direction ‘Krumme Lanke’).

• Get off at ‘U Thielplatz’.

Alternatively:

• Take Bus 171 (direction ‘Hermannplatz’) to ‘U Rudow’.

• Get off and take U7 (direction ‘S+U Rathaus Spandau’).

• Change trains at ‘U Fehrbelliner Platz’ and take U3 (direction ‘Krumme Lanke’).
