An Analysis of the Islamic State’s Rhetoric
Kurstin Gatt is currently working on his doctoral thesis at the Friedrich Schlegel-Graduate School of Literary Studies at the Free University Berlin. Gatt’s research interests include:
1. Political Discourse in the Arab world
2. Militant Jihadist Poetry
3. Radical Islamist Ideology
4. Arabic Dialectology
Mr. Gatt is currently working on the rhetoric of the Islamic State organization, taking into consideration poetry published by the organisation. He is supervised by Prof. Dr. Beatrice Gruendler and Prof. Dr. Islam Dayeh.
