The Brain Language Laboratory is inviting Master's Students to apply for an internship.
Our research focuses on the brain mechanisms of language as well as on language therapy. We utilize various methods in our research, such as EEG, TMS, MRI, and behavioural experiments. As an intern, students can work with doctoral candidates and post-docs to assist in, for example, experimental planning, data collection, and analyses. Students are then encouraged to initiate their own research projects.
One example of our research is on Linguistic Relativity - can language somehow influence our perception? By training participants to associate pseudowords with vibrotactile patterns, we can investigate whether verbal labels can improve our discrimination.
