The four semester master’s degree program in Arts and Media Administration at the Institute for Arts and Media Management offers a hands-on university education for the field of cultural and media activities. Experienced practitioners with academic backgrounds teach marketing and communication, institutional and project management, cultural promotion, and cultural financing, in addition to cultural and media theory, cultural policy, and cultural history. In addition, students have the opportunity to put the knowledge and skills they have acquired into practice even before they graduate, as part of supervised practical projects.
The Institute works closely with committed partners from the fields of culture, media, administration, and business to pursue these aims. One particular area of focus in the Institute’s teaching and research activities is cultural exchange between Germany and the United States.
