– For applicants whose native language is not German, the written application must also include the required proof of language skills.
Students are admitted once per year, for the winter semester. The deadline for applications is June 30 of the same year. Written applications must have been received, in full, by no later than on this date at the central admissions office (Zulassungsbüro) of FU Berlin at Iltisstr.1, 14195 Berlin. The selection committee makes a preliminary selection based on the written applications. Seventy applicants are then invited to attend a personal interview with the selection committee. The interviews last about 20 minutes and typically take place in August. Following the round of interviews, 25 applicants are admitted to the program. Admission notices and rejection notices are sent in writing.
