Michael Taussig, Professor of Anthropology at Columbia University is known for his interdisciplinary approach to and innovative synthesis of ethnology, media theory and performance studies. His publications move along the boundaries of cultural studies and fine arts which is at the core of the International Research Training Group’s work. Taussig will present his latest work Camouflage (released in 2008) at the network meeting "this is what a chameleon looks like" illusion - imagination- immersion. He will be available for discussion with the doctorates in a workshop.
