The philosopher of science Eirka Mansnerus from the Centre for Analysis of Risk and Regulation (CARR) of the London School of Economics and Political Science will come to Berlin in November 2010. Her research is focussed on the role of computer based models in science. Together with the BMBF Collaborative Research Project she will organize the workshop "Philosophy of Synthetic Biology" in 2011 at the University of Helsinki.
